Marathon this week end

Hello people.

On my objective of running 10 Km with ease. I ran the 10 Km last Sunday in my city's marathon.

It is quite a achievement for me. I used to run 2 minutes and then I would feel all my energy depleted and exhausted. Now I can run 10 Km!

I did it in 1h09. Not bad. But I am adicted now. Next year I want to do it in less than one hour.
I want to do it in about 44 minutes.

I will also use it as a training for my Kilimandjaro project.

Update on running 10 Km with ease

On September 25th I will be running a 10 Km at my local marathon event. This will help on four dreams I have: it will help my health for climbing Kilimandjaro. It will help me fill my dream of running 10 Km with ease. And it will help me get in shape for running a triathlon and finally it will put me up closer on my dream to have the body of a Greek god.

So for the next two weeks, I drop the barbells and dumbells. I concentrate on jogging, endurance and distance.

I'm very excited about that event.

Kilimandjaro update

Back in October 2010 I started a group to go climb mount Kilimandjaro. It started so well that it still on with 22 people and we have weekly activities to amass money for our trip.

It seams that this dream will be filled much sooner than I thought.

Don't under estimate the power of group. They push you forward just when you thought you might take a little rest.

Surround yourself with like minded people.

Run 10 Km with ease

I've postponed my inscription for Karate lessons (my martial art project) because I've joined a class called Cardio Running. I suck at running. And that is why I want to be able to run a 10 Km easy.

There is a Marathon scheduled in my city for September. And they always organize a 10 Km run during that event. I want to subscribe to the 10 Km. And as a training, my Cardio Running class will get me ready.

This will aslo serve as a pre training for my Triathlon project. Synergy between projects I call it.

CFA Certification

I started working on my CFA certifiaction. I am just at the preliminary part still.

The certification cost 1300$ US. And I am working on having my employer pay for it. I am waiting for an answer. We'll see. But they are very slow.

Kilimandjaro update

Back in January I started a group of people interested in going to climb the Kilimandjaro.

Don't underestimate the power of people putting their energy together in making a project happen. I only wanted to gather some people in order for me not to go alone. Now I am in the middle of a group that is practically a business. We amass money to finance our trip. And if the trend persist, this trip of a lifetime will not cost me much.

Stay tuned. Departure date is for September 2012.

Develop the Fos Project.

The FoS project is to develop a oasis of peace. An apartment or place I could keep for myself, and myself only. Where I could do my things, read, learn, meditate and plan. A resourceful place.

This place would be my fortress of solitude.

Follow this link to see what I mean.

Become a mPUA

You can see some details about this objective following my previous post

Have the body of a greek god

I feel that I am close to this objective. I just lack the extra motivation to get to the final step.

Beginning next week. I will: swim at least once a week, treadmill at least twice a week, train at least 3 times a week. And I will manage my diet.

With this I should get close to the objective.

The only uncertain thing I need to sort out is how much abs training I will do. And this is the most important part since abs are the most disgraceful part of my body. Therefore they are the part that need most training.

Become a government deputy for at least one mandate

The idea is to serve at least one mandate in my government. It can be at any level: Federal, state or even mayor of my town.

The political plane always interested me. And this goes in accordance with my will to power. There is power and respect to gain from being in politics. Meet powerful people and make friend with some of the top world movers and shakers.

However the political path have considerably lost prestige in the mind of people in the last 20 years, this endeavor is of less interest to me. I leave it here anyway for I promessed myself, when I made the to do list, that I would not retrieve any idea. Even the craziest ones or the most unlikely ones.

Become a mPUA

I started following this link. And I started studiing a method called "The Natural Art of Seduction ".

We'll see if it works.

My training

To get the body of a Greek god I have to train most obviously.

Here is my training:

Week 1:

1 . Dumbbell Bench Press
2. Seated Dumbbell Press
3. Wide-Grip Pulldowns
4. Dumbbell Extensions
5. Incline Dumbbell Curls

Week 2:

1. Incline Dumbbell Press
2. Standing Barbell Press
3. One-Arm Dumbbell Rows
4. Close-Grip Pushdowns
5. Seated Dumbbell Curls

Week 3:

1. Dumbbell Flyes
2. Side Raises
3. Reverse-Grip Pulldowns
4. Bench Dips
5. Standing Barbell Curls

Week 4:

1. Barbell Bench Press
2. Bent-Over Raises
3. Dumbbell Pullovers
4. Lying Dumbbell Extensions
5. Hammer Curls

Week 5:

Random training. Pick one exercise per week.

Cardio training:

30 minutes run on treadmeals, using a high intensity cardiovascular interval.

Habs training:

6 different habs exercises using this method: link

Weights and Reps:

I do one rep highest intensity for each weight exercise. the idea is not to be able to do more reps (exhausted) when the first 10 reps are done.

I use the Colorado experiment method. You can learn more about it following these links:

Link 1

Link 2

Sequence 1:

Monday: Cardio
Tuesday: Weight
Wednesday: Cardio
Thursday: Weight
Friday: Free (I can train or not. My choice)
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Cardio

Sequence 2:

Monday: Weight
Tuesday: Cardio
Wednesday: Weight
Thursday: Cardio
Friday: Free
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Weight

Week 1: Sequence 1
Week 2: Sequence 2
Week 3: Sequence 1
Week 4: Sequence 2
Week 5: Sequence 1

How it all falls down together:

Week 1. Since its Sequence 1 I start the week with a cardio training on Monday. On Tuesday I go for the weight training according to the week 1 exercises listed at the beginning. On Wednesday, Cardio training. Thursday, weught training still using the week 1 exercises. And so on...

The habs training goes like this. On cardio day, do the habs exercises before starting the treadmills. On weight day, mix the habs exercises among the weights exercises. Therefore I will do 1 weight exercise, then 1 habs exercise, then move on the second weight exercise, then do the second habs exercise and so on...

I also want to include habs reps at night. Around 10 P.M. just before my shower and heading to bed.

First to be undertaken

The firsts objectives to be undertaken are the following:

1. Make 1 000 000 dollars.

Because with that it will be easier to fulfill the other objectives. It will free me some time and help finance some other objectives.

2. Have the body of a Greek god.

This is probably the easiest to achieve yet, may be one of the toughest. Easy because it depends on me solely. Hard because it is all in the head. And I am my worst enemy when it comes to that.
So by September 1st. I will start my training and start eating right too.

3. mPUA

I want to do this for the confidence it brings. Look at your girlfriend. If she wanted she could put your life into hell in about 4 hours. She just have to go out, show her cleavage and there you go. There is a waiting line for her, to gain her favors. About you bud? If you would like to retaliate. How many time would it take you? One week of emails, and 3 to 4 dates later she might agree to a kiss?

How about having the ability to beat any woman on their own ground? And how about your girlfriend knowing of your ability? She would think twice before messing around knowing that you can match her any time. Or if she's faithful. She will be even more and will be all around you to make sure that you don't get enough of her and start looking elsewhere. Either way, you have an edge.

So the terms are set. September 1st will be the first step to a long travel.

Acta Non Verba

This is latin meaning that action is better than words.

Therefore there is no need to loose myself in a long speach. Let's start right now.

I shall start with Objective 36: to have the body of a Greek God.

This is one of the easiest to start with because it involves only me, my training and my diet.

So lets start as of this week.

First entry: In the beginning

This blog will be dedicated to the advancement of the fulfillment of my dreams.

I could lecture you for several pages on the fact we, too soon in life, forget about our dreams to the benefit of what ever whim off our work, health, the society, etc... You know all that already don't you?

Now the idea here is to state all the dreams you would want to accomplish in your life without any inhibition. Even if it sounds crazy like being the first one to cross the Atlantic ocean by swimming. If you inhibit yourself then you loose without even starting. So go ahead and let it flow.

What would have happened if Steve Jobs would have said to himself "well who am I to dream about inventing a computer? Who would buy it anyway?" What would have happened if Shakespeare would have said to himself "who am I to think that my plays will be acted and published? I'm just a little boy from Stratford anyway." What would have happened if Einstein would have said to himself "I am just a little patent clerk. Who would be interested on my theory in physics?" Get the point now? This list could go endless. So sit down and let it flow. History will tell what you've been able to accomplish or not.
